Working Hours: 32 hours per week

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in hairdressing and beauty therapy. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards. Support students in achieving their qualifications and career goals. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2/ 3 or equivalent in Hairdressing. NVQ Level 2/3 Barbering Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the students and the college.

Desirable Qualifications:

Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed). Assessors Award (e.g., TAQA).

Skills and Attributes:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Commitment to continuous professional development. Enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students.
