We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling and barbering, with a flair for customer service and an eye for detail. This role involves providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for clients. The Hair Stylist will also have opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall success of the salon. Please note these are self employed roles.

Duties

Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs. Perform barbering services with precision and creativity. Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer personalised recommendations. Assist at the front desk, managing appointments and ensuring smooth salon operations. Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon environment. Mentor junior stylists, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional growth. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members.

Experience

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role within a salon environment. Strong skills in barbering techniques and hair styling. Background in customer service, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Experience in front desk operations is advantageous. Familiarity with eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable. Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining a positive client relationship.
