Job Summary:


The Handover Manager oversees and manages the handover of each Curzon St Station package into operation and maintenance.



Key Responsibilities:

Implement the Plan for Completion and Plan for Maintenance services. Develop close relationships asset engineering and operations teams and arrange regular reviews of the design and specification of the project to ensure that the agreed RAMS and operational strategies are embedded Lead detailed design reviews with relevant specialist sub-contractors (e.g. MEP, CIS) to ensure design meets RAMS requirements e.g. location of access hatches etc. Lead regular RAMS site inspections as the works progress to ensure that maintenance requirements are capture in the finished asset and incorporate any desirable changes from original requirements Arrange and manage all off site testing, including software development for CIS systems, plant and equipment , switchboards etc. Ensure that Human Factors and other issues have been embedded in the design of control rooms, ticketing booths etc. Lead the on-site testing and witnessing of all systems and the sign off by the HS2/LUL and the relevant statutory bodies Oversee the delivery and safe storage of all spares to the clients facilities in accordance with contract terms Ensure that all as built, maintenance instructions, BIM models are delivered and signed off by the client in accordance with contract terms Oversee the inspection and defects rectification processes liaising with construction delivery team as required and obtain sign off from the relevant client and statutory bodies. Manage the aftercare and defects liability period the final sign off of the project by the relevant client body


Technical skills and Competencies:

Extensive Operations and FM knowledge Good experience in the rail operational environment Sound knowledge of HMRI and other rail legislation and regulation Good experience of working with rail stakeholders


Qualifications, Certifications and Experience:

Experience of rail operations Past experience of major rail projects Formal qualification in Asset Management or similar relevant discipline/experience
