SPEC Engineering Ltd is seeking a Handy Person join our team in Leatherhead, Surrey.

If you are multi skilled with general DIY/Maintenance skills, know a bit about general repairs and can wield a broom or paint brush this is the role for you.

As this is an office based role therefore successful applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance to Leatherhead.

Responsibilities

Doing minor or emergency repairs, decorative touches to office space and meeting rooms.

Moving furniture, touching up paints,

Carrying out regular Fire Safety checks

Liaising with our external contractors to report repairs outside of your remit and chase up outstanding works.

Building flat pack furniture/cabinets as and when required and maintenance of furniture.

Basic plumbing such as changing tap washers, unblocking sinks etc / Electrical works including lighting and cable routing.

Assisting with disposing of packaging materials/general rubbish etc

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage

Able to use technology to keep up to date with email and other communications

A team player with a can-do attitude and enthusiasm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 23,000.00-25,000.00 per year
