We are looking for a skilled Handy Person to join our friendly and supportive team.
This role is key in ensuring fabric-related planned preventative maintenance, as well as proactive and reactive works, are carried out to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
All tasks are issued through the helpdesk, and the aim is always to exceed customer expectations.
You will be working in a relaxed and welcoming environment, surrounded by a really nice team that values collaboration and professionalism.

In addition to fabric maintenance, responsibilities will also cover a range of building services tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out external grounds maintenance duties to required standards
Provide callout response in line with the rota schedule
Undertake contractor control, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work
Ensure equipment operates to specified performance levels and surrounding areas meet company standards
Deliver a professional service to maintain customer satisfaction and client confidence
Evaluate performance and ensure servicing/maintenance of contracted equipment is completed correctly
Liaise proactively with clients, addressing or escalating concerns as appropriate
Maintain accurate administration, records, and documentation in line with requirements
Ensure compliance with H&S, risk assessments, and COSHH regulations
Suggest and support improvements and innovations to enhance service delivery
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
FM background essential, with experience across varied maintenance tasks
Flexible and adaptable, able to take on ad hoc tasks as directed by the client
Strong practical skills with a "hands-on" approach
Previous experience in grounds maintenance or similar roles preferred
Any trade-related qualifications (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry) are highly beneficial
Good awareness of health & safety, risk assessments, and COSHH requirements
Reliable, proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team
