Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of technical skills and experience in maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, providing excellent customer service and demonstrating leadership abilities when supervising others.

Duties

Perform general maintenance tasks including repairs and upkeep of facilities Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers for various systems Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively Execute welding tasks as required for repairs or installations Apply electrical experience to address electrical faults and perform installations Utilise mechanical knowledge for equipment repairs and maintenance Supervise junior staff or apprentices, providing guidance and support Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and addressing their needs

Qualifications

Proven experience in maintenance or a similar role Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers, schematics, welding, and electrical systems Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues Excellent command of English, both written and verbal Previous supervising experience is advantageous Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service Leadership qualities with the capability to motivate and manage a team effectively
