Job Description

General Description:

Carry out skilled DIY & general maintenance works in various environments and scenarios both internal and external, rest assured, everyday will be different and a learning experience. The role includes general DIY and maintenance including basic carpentry, plumbing, replacement of tiling, replacement of flooring and painting and decorating.

Key Activities / Responsibilities:

Willingness to learn and adapt (there will be possibility to do various training courses) Working on void(empty) and tenanted properties Ability to work alone and with other team members to provide a courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants Working on various joinery, plumbing tasks Working alongside other trades to provide help when and where needed To ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day Working under instruction to meet the needs of the client Observe the highest levels of health and safety, and use appropriate safety equipment To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required

Essential Criteria

Full driving license (REQUIRED) Previous experience working within construction industry Experience working with hand and power tools Evidence of delivering high levels of customer service and reliability.

Desirable

Valid CSR Card Experience in the public sector Experience with joinery, plumbing, electrical, tiling etc.

Skills/Competencies:

Basic IT skills Demonstrate reliability, flexibility and adaptability Have adequate literacy and numeracy skills Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines Excellent team working skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
