Handyman/Woman

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

15.75 per hour

Breaks: 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks daily (all unpaid)

Company Vehicle Provided

Areas Covering: Borders & Edinburgh

About the Role:

We are currently seeking

two experienced handymen

to join our team, each responsible for a group of designated homes. You will play a key role in ensuring our residential properties are safe, well-maintained, and presentable. This is a varied role requiring skills across general maintenance, decorating, and gardening. You will be expected to carry out a wide range of repairs and upkeep duties both inside and outside the buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

General maintenance and repair tasks across assigned homes Painting and wallpapering rooms and communal areas Basic joinery and handyman tasks Garden maintenance and outdoor upkeep Reporting issues and completing job records as required Working independently and managing your own daily schedule

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role Skills in painting, wallpapering, joinery, and garden maintenance Ability to work independently across multiple sites Good communication and organisational skills A full UK driving licence (essential - company vehicle provided)
