Handyman (Part-Time - Boutique Serviced Apartments, Edinburgh)

Self-employed | 750 per month | 3 days per week | Flexible hours

We're looking for a reliable, skilled handyman/woman to support the maintenance of a small, design-led boutique serviced apartment complex over 3 locations in central Edinburgh. This is a flexible, part-time role -- ideal for someone seeking steady, ongoing work with a friendly and professional team.

Hours:

3 days per week (flexible on which days) Between 10-11am and 2-3pm (approximately 4 hours per day) Occasional additional hours available for larger projects or urgent callouts

About the role:

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day upkeep of the property, ensuring everything runs smoothly and looks its best. You'll handle small repairs, light maintenance, and assist with guest-related issues as needed and will report into the General Manager.

Typical tasks include:

General maintenance and repairs Painting, decorating, and touch-ups Replacing fixtures and fittings Light plumbing, electrical, and joinery work Reporting and assisting with larger maintenance projects

What we're looking for:

Proven handyman or maintenance experience (hospitality or property background preferred) Strong practical skills and attention to detail Dependable, professional, and easy to communicate with Based locally in Edinburgh and available during the above hours

Payment:

The above hours would be paid at 15/per hour as a retainer, where you would need to be readily available on site during those hours. (paid monthly via invoice - self-employed basis) Extra hours or out-of-hours work are paid additionally
