We are an established and growing multi-trades construction company. Our work covers a variety of sites over the two subsections of our company, Re-letting and Re-build. We value dependability, strong work ethics, and are looking for a plumber/gas engineer willing to join our team and deliver a high-quality product for our customers.

Role



We are looking for a handy man to join our Re-letting team. You will be working on your own or as part of a team in rental units all over Edinburgh. We require a worker who is competent in a range of construction tasks. We work to high standards and strive to meet the needs of the customer and the brief, whilst working closely with the other trades at our company making the completion of tasks as smooth as possible.

Key Responsibilities



Carry out general maintenance and repair works across residential rental properties.

Perform basic plumbing tasks (leaks, tap replacement, toilet repairs, clearing blockages).

Carry out minor electrical works (changing sockets, light fittings, switches - where qualified).

Undertake carpentry and joinery repairs (doors, locks, handles, shelving, kitchen units).

Complete painting, decorating, and patch repairs.

Repair and replace fixtures and fittings (blinds, curtain rails, tiles, sealant, flooring repairs).

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations.

Liaise professionally with tenants, landlords, and property managers.

Report larger or specialist repair needs to management and help to set a plan in place going forward.

Have good communication with management and the team providing progress updates and material reports.

Support end-of-tenancy repairs and property refurbishments.

Certifications, skills and experience



Notable experience as a handy man

Full UK driving license (preferable).

Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks.

Knowledge and understanding of tools and materials.

Punctuality and organizational skills.
