We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to carry out general maintenance and repairs within our care home. The role is essential in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and minor installations
Ensure the building and grounds are safe and well presented
Respond promptly to maintenance requests
Conduct basic health and safety checks
Liaise with external contractors when required
Requirements:
Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman work
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Friendly, respectful approach when working around residents
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
