We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man/women to join our team on a bank hour basis . The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills to perform various maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Conduct general maintenance and repairs on properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues that require attention.
Respond promptly to service requests from clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Assist with the installation of fixtures, fittings, and appliances as required.
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used for each job.
Collaborate with other tradespeople when necessary to complete larger projects efficiently.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
A valid driver's licence is advantageous for travel between job sites.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks safely and effectively.
