Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of buildings, fixtures, and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks. Assist with installation of fixtures, appliances, or equipment as required. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and standards. Maintain organised records of repairs and maintenance activities. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Respond promptly to urgent repair requests to minimise downtime or inconvenience. Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised after completing tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or in a similar maintenance role. Broad knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and general repairs. Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints is desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces. Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., electrical or plumbing) are advantageous but not essential. A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour
