Overview

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Handyman/Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set to perform various maintenance and repair tasks and gardening at client's premises. Duties

Perform repairs on electrical systems, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Perform gardening requirements, cutting weeding, garden structure repairs. Assist with the installation of fixtures, appliances, and other equipment as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Respond promptly to repair requests. Conduct quotes, taking into consideration materials and time, whilst showing honesty and efficiency. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs carried out.

Experience

Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance role is preferred. Knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and general repairs is essential. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance issues. Relevant qualifications or certifications in trades such as electrical work, or carpentry are advantageous but not mandatory. Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 25 per week
