Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. Interpret schematics and blueprints to carry out repairs or installations. Operate welding equipment for metal repairs or fabrications as needed. Maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and staff. Supervise and lead small teams during larger maintenance projects. Document all maintenance activities and report on the condition of facilities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in maintenance or maintenance person roles with a strong mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in electrical systems, plumbing, and basic welding techniques. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Strong leadership skills with previous supervising experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanour. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with clients and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
