We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair, demonstrating proficiency in various technical skills. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment. Interpret and work from schematics to execute repairs and installations. Conduct welding tasks as required for structural or aesthetic improvements. Provide electrical services, including troubleshooting and repairs. Utilise mechanical knowledge to maintain machinery and equipment effectively. Supervise and lead small teams on specific projects or tasks, ensuring quality workmanship. Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong understanding of programmable logic controllers. Familiarity with electrical systems and mechanical components is essential. Previous supervisory experience is desirable, showcasing leadership capabilities in managing teams. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with clients. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team and with clients.
