The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Candidate for processing returned products in a timely and accurate manner. These items include but not limited to Garden Furniture, Outdoor Kitchen and BBQ products, Pergolas and seasonal items such as Christmas and Halloween This role includes inspecting items, verifying return reasons, restocking undamaged items back to the shelf and maintaining documentation on the companies WMS system.
The other key part to the role repairing of damaged returns to make something that has been returned damaged and in an unsalable condition to get it back to a salable condition where it could be sold off as a seconds in our store. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various materials such as wood, metal, rattan, and plastic, and possess a strong attention to detail. This role is mainly based at our warehouse in Watlington but there may be occasions where you may be required to visit the customer premises to perform an onsite repair.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process returned items from customers or retail locations.
Inspect returned goods for damage, defects, or signs of use.
Identify issues needing repair or replacement.
Replace damaged or missing parts such as slats, bolts, cushions, or fabric.
Refinish and repaint surfaces to restore appearance and prevent further wear.
Use appropriate hand and power tools to complete repairs safely and efficiently.
Determine appropriate action: restock, refurbish, repair, dispose, or return to vendor.
Update inventory and return status in the warehouse management system
Ensure all returns are processed according to company policy and quality standards.
Work with customer service and warehouse teams to resolve return issues.
Maintain a clean and organized returns area.
Follow all safety and company procedures.
The Individual:
Proven experience in furniture repair or similar trade.
Proven experience in installation's would be an advantage but not essential
Proven experience in delivery driving would be an advantage but not essential
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Ability to move large bulky boxes in a safe manner
Highly organised
Self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude
Hardworking and able to work to set deadlines
Professional, positive, organised and enthusiastic approach
Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Pay: 25,000.00-26,000.00 per year
