?Care & Repair Cardiff and the Vale is a charity that exists to support older people living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan to repair, adapt and maintain their homes to enable them to live as independently as possible with increased safety, security, warmth and comfort.
We are currently seeking:
HANDYPERSON
Salary
: 28,143 per annumContract
: PermanentFlexible and Hybrid working
Full Time, 35 hours per week
Closing date: 30th November
Interviews: 11th December
The role will help older people in their homes with odd jobs, small repairs to home and maintenance works to sensory products to ensure they are safe and warm and continue to live independently within their home.
In summary, the role will:
Be responsible for providing high quality and timely adaptations, improvements, repairs, maintenance to the Care & Repair Group's clients.
Require a high standard of work at all times and compliance with all Health and Safety requirements relating to any particular task.
Represent the organisation in a professional and positive way, promoting the Care &Repair Group values and its brand.
