To lead the coordination of the Handyperson team in relation to the organisation of both reactive and planned works. The Handyperson Coordinator will retain oversight across all areas of the handyperson function and uphold the position as the central point of contact between the team and management. The Handyperson Coordinator will drive the team to achieve best practice in all tasks and activities.
Lead the day to day coordination of handyperson activities and tasks.
Liaise with FM Helpdesk and Engineering Operations Manager to agree and prioritise scheduling of tasks.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the airport building layout, function and complexities through developed practices through continuous assessment, staff training and personal development.
Perform routine and extensive preventative/reactive maintenance, and painting/decoration/general fixes of airport areas.
Carry out high standard repairs and maintenance to airport facilities, infrastructure, and equipment.
To assist with various ad hoc duties as reasonably required from time to time
Ensure any hazards or unsafe acts are reported through the Accident and Safety reporting scheme and to the relevant managers.
To undertake any training required as relevant to job role
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on specific activities/equipment as agreed with Line Management
Experience in customer facing environment.
Previous experience within similar environment and in particular service delivery.

Formal qualifications are not required but any vocational training courses that have been taken are an advantage
A full Valid UK driving License (essential)
