30 hours per week - 5 days per week.




Flexible hours - 8 am - 2 pm or 9 am - 3 pm.

You will be the go-to person for keeping our home running smoothly. Your skills will ensure that residents live in a safe, well-maintained environment, and your work will directly contribute to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Oak Tree Lodge special.


Key Responsibilities:




Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across the home. maintain the safety of the care home Ensure safety checks and compliance with health and safety standards. Support with decorating, minor refurbishments, and keeping the home looking its best. Work closely with the care team to respond quickly to maintenance needs. Help create a safe, comfortable, and attractive environment for residents, families, and staff.

What We're Looking For:




Practical skills in maintenance, repairs, and general DIY. knowledge and experience in health and safety Knowledge of health and safety of fire in care homes Background in health and safety checks A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail. Reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards.

Oak Tree Lodge in Gipton, Leeds is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 60 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
