Thameside care home provides quality 24-hour residential care and specialist care for residents with dementia. At Thameside, every detail matters, from the gardens to the living spaces, and our dedicated staff play a vital role in creating a safe, homely atmosphere.
As a Handyperson, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our home running smoothly. Your skills will ensure that residents live in a safe, well-maintained environment, and your work will directly contribute to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes our home special.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across the home.
Conduct health and safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Support with decorating, minor refurbishments, and keeping the home looking its best.
Respond quickly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
Help create a safe, comfortable, and attractive environment for residents, families, and colleagues.
What We're Looking For:
Practical skills in maintenance, repairs, and general DIY.
A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards.
Previous experience in a similar role
