RedOakes Landscaping Company is seeking two landscape labourers to join our team. As a small but dynamic company, we have contributed to impressive projects and pride ourselves on our expertise in design, installation of driveways, patios, and outbuildings. We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic landscaping labourers to join our growing team.
No previous experience is required; however, a genuine passion for the trade is essential. Duties will include moving materials, assisting team leaders, following instructions, as well as general site tasks such as relocating fencing, sweeping, and ensuring the site remains tidy and well-organised. Applicants must wear appropriate PPE, possess the right to work in the UK, and be able to travel independently to and from our yard.
We offer an hourly wage, with weekly work hours averaging approximately 40 hours. During peak seasons, overtime may be available for candidates interested in additional hours.
Responsibilities
Assisting with landscape installation such as driveways, patios, constructing outbuildings, and planting
Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment including excavators
Supporting construction tasks related to garden design, installation, and site preparation
Maintaining equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
Assisting with site clearance, site preparation, and daily tasks
Ensuring safety procedures are followed during all operations and maintaining a tidy work area
Supporting team members with general labouring duties across multiple projects as required
Experience
Previous experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Having a passion for the trade and garden design is important
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance tasks is beneficial
Experience in construction or outdoor project work will be considered an asset
A proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness to undertake manual labour tasks in varying weather conditions is essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 36 - 50 per week
