The Role

As a Hard Landscaping Assistant, you will be the vital support for our skilled Team Leaders and Experienced Landscapers. This is a hands-on role where you will be directly involved in the day-to-day construction of beautiful, bespoke gardens. This position is ideal for a proactive individual with a great attitude who is eager to develop their skills in a professional environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with all aspects of hard landscaping, including ground preparation, paving, decking, fencing, and building pergolas. Ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are prepared and organised for site each day. Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy work environment, including company vehicles. Communicating effectively with the team leader to ensure projects run smoothly. Upholding all health and safety procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For (The Candidate)

Essential Requirements:

A positive, can-do attitude and a strong, reliable work ethic. A genuine interest in landscaping and a passion for working outdoors. A full, clean UK driving licence is

essential

for this role. Professional, polite, and respectful when working on client properties. A great team player.

Desirable Skills:

Some practical, hands-on experience in landscaping or a related trade (e.g., groundwork, construction, carpentry) is highly advantageous.

A starting salary of 18,000 - 23,000 per year, dependent on your level of experience.

Based in Forest Row, East Sussex (You must be able to reliably commute or relocate). Work is carried out on sites across Sussex, Surrey, and Kent.
