We are a young innovative, design and build landscaping company specialising in high end projects based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, supplying North London and the home counties.
We have worked on a range of projects both large and small with budgets ranging from 30,000 - 500,000. We are seeking a talented and highly experienced, skilled hard landscaping supervisor to join our growing company on a permanent basis.
With recent business growth and an expanding team, we're excited to be adding a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Project Leader / Site Foreman to our Landscaping Team.
This role requires someone who can confidently lead an on-site crew of at least two team members while maintaining clear and professional communication with our clients. If you're passionate about landscaping and skilled at managing people and projects, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a small team and deliver landscaping projects on time, on budget, and to high standards.
Plan on-site for weekly targets, management of onsite materials, tools, and equipment, and maintain workloads with changing weather conditions.
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, colleagues, and contractors.
Ensure all work meets specifications and quality standards, offering practical solutions to site and design challenges.
Uphold health and safety compliance, oversee vehicle and tool maintenance, and ensure team presentation and professionalism.
Must be able to read & implement plans competently understanding construction drawings and detailing.
Attention to detail is imperative
Highly skilled in all aspects of hard landscaping. Including porcelain/natural stone paving, fencing, walling, water features, steps, tree planting
Must have experience operating small plant.
Be familiar with tender and construction processes
Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in the landscape industry
Examples of previous work and references required upon application
Right to work in the UK must be evidenced, must be well presented and punctual
Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence
Proven team leadership experience
Strong skills in hard and soft landscaping
CSCS, NPORS, Machinery tickets not essential but (highly desirable ) or willing to obtain.
