Hybrid Working
This role is based in our East Finchley office working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

The Opportunity
The Hardware Deployment Officer is responsible for all IT elements of the new restaurant opening Programme across UK & ROI. Restaurant conversions, mass deployments and special projects will also form part of the responsibilities as required., The role will oversee the technical planning and organisation required to support these programmes, they will also be responsible for ensuring that all hardware technology assets are recorded and tracked in a Restaurant Asset Management database to support other technology teams and Franchisee investment plans going forward. In addition, the role holder is responsible for maintaining configuration standards for new restaurant openings and for regular auditing and controls to ensure that restaurants are deployed and maintained in a simplistic, controlled and consistent manner.

What will my key accountabilities be?

  • Responsible for the technical planning and execution associated with all new restaurant openings across the UK & Ireland market.
  • Plans, monitors, and records hardware maintenance lifecycles to ensure compliance with vendor contracts and the viability and performance of hardware assets.
  • Support for any hardware auditing, annual Franchisee planning cycles and global VMO.
  • Provide Operational expertise into the delivery of the New Restaurant IT platform and enhance the reputation of the team and department by ensuring quality is maintained with excellent handover of IT systems to the operations teams.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of tracking system for all hardware assets in order to maintain an accurate inventory and accounting of all assets and their components.
  • Provide an ongoing restaurant view of hardware and contributes to an annual Franchisee Investment plan.
  • Temporary Fixed Asset (TFA) Stock Account Management of \xc2\xa310m+ worth of assets.
  • Supporting the Service Delivery function to identify and improve IT Support to the restaurants.
  • Cross functional working with multiple Departments and IT Partners to facilitate New Openings.
  • Manages change control of new systems and initiatives when being introduced to New Openings.
  • Responsible for ongoing communication with the Franchisees and their teams.
  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations.
  • *Responsible for overseeing installation and configuration of network infrastructure such as Ethernet, FTTP and Voice lines.
What team will I be part of?

Running Great Restaurant Technology
  • The Hardware Deployment Officer will operate as part of the Asset and Configuration Management team within the Running Great Restaurant Technology function and will support the wider Technology and Change function.
  • The role will also work closely with counterparts in other LIOM markets as well as the market Deployment team to ensure the timely deployment and testing of required patches

Qualifications

Essential requirements
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with vendors, suppliers, and contractors who provide a broad spectrum of products and services.
  • Strong EoTF Operational Knowledge & Experience - Previous experience of working in an IT function not essential - knowledge of operations and management skills are far more important and desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to present complex or highly technical issues in simple and easy-to-understand formats.
