Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated a HCA both days and/or nights (waking) to provide essential support to a lovely gentleman in his home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need in a comfortable environment. As an HCA, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence while adhering to their care plans.
Duties
Assist the client with supporting both in bed and while walking in his home.
Ensuring his safety is upheld at all times.
Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, regularly updating as necessary.
Communicate effectively with client and his wife regarding care needs in realtime.
Maintain accurate records of client activities and any changes in condition.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of client.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care.
Qualifications
Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and families.
Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and communication within the team.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
