Healthcare Support Workers
to join our friendly and supportive teams across our inpatient wards and community services.
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals. You'll be an essential part of the team, helping to promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist patients with personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting
Support patients with mobility and help them stay active
Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing team
Assist with feeding and hydration needs
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Support patients with social and emotional care
Follow health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding procedures
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
What We're Looking For:
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
A caring and patient approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexibly across shifts
Commitment to delivering person-centred care
Ability to remain calm under pressure
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
