We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position involves working closely with clients in various settings, including care homes, to support their daily activities and promote independence.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients in their daily routines and activities, ensuring adherence to individual care plans.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Participate in training sessions and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently.
Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
