We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties
Supporting individuals with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and domestic tasks
Assisting with the implementation and review of personalised care plans
Providing emotional support and companionship to service users
Assisting with medication administration in accordance with care plans
Supporting individuals to access community activities and maintain social connections
Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
Driving service users to appointments or social activities when required
Ensuring a safe and clean environment in line with health and safety regulations
Skills
Valid driving licence and experience with driving service users is desirable
Experience working within a care home or providing home care services
Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately
Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
