Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility, strength, and function.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programmes accordingly to optimise recovery outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, posture correction, and home exercise routines.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care management.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stay updated with the latest developments in physiotherapy practices through continuous professional development.
Skills
Proven experience working within a hospital environment is highly desirable.
Specialisation or experience in paediatrics is advantageous but not essential.
Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
Ability to assess complex cases accurately and develop effective treatment strategies.
Organised with the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
