As a Head Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable experience from the moment they enter our establishment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience. Handle food preparation tasks as required, including baking or assembling light snacks. Manage inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and transactions accurately. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Experience

Previous barista experience is essential, showcasing your ability to craft beverages efficiently. Familiarity with food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced setting is beneficial. Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions effectively. Strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks while maintaining quality service.
