We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Barista / Supervisor to join a new vibrant project. This is a new role where we introduce speciality coffee in our cafe, so the candidate must have a true passion for coffee and able to transfer this passion to our customers and built a community around the cafe.
The ideal candidate will have a LOVE for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional experience.
Duties
CUSTOMERS AND SALES.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
able to built a loyalty customer base by true engagement while performing coffees
Building a comunity around the area, being the representative of our cafe to the local neighbours,
Reach to sales target
COFFEE
Provide coffee trainings to other staff , organise external courses to provide training for other baristas / or home coffee lovers who wants to join our courses
calibrate coffee grinder daily
Calibrate espresso machine to ensure making perfect espresso following recipe
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards
advance latte art performance
knowledge of specialty coffee beans
FOOD
Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
serving counter cakes and if need prepare some brunch if need it.
Appy Food Hygiene rules and HACCP principles and be responsible that the rest of staff follows these rules.
TEAM
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils
Comunicating daily with the manager

Requirements
Previous demonstrable experience as a head barista in SPECIALTY coffee shop
Perfect knowledge of calibrating machines and grinders and follow espresso recipes.
has passion of what you do and be dedicated to the project
Able to delegate tasks to other team members of cafe
Previous experience in food preparation and passion for brunch food
Strong understanding of food safety practices.
Min requirement Level 2 food and safety hygiene
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for customer service, able to engage with them and built a loyalty base.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
