We are excited to be recruiting a Head Chef to lead the kitchen for our new restaurant within our expanding portfolio of sports and leisure clubs. Our members are passionate about great food and we are looking for someone who can match that energy.
This role is perfect for an experienced and creative Chef who thrives in a fast paced environment. You will have a strong eye for detail, a love for high quality ingredients and a genuine commitment to consistency and presentation. You will also be a team player with the leadership skills to motivate and guide your brigade.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation
Design and deliver a fresh, attractive menu for our new site
Create a healthy and appealing menu tailored to our members and visitors
Manage ordering and purchasing for the kitchen
Lead monthly stock takes and ensure correct rotation procedures
Oversee kitchen staff, allocate daily duties and provide technical training where needed
Monitor portion control and reduce waste, while coaching junior staff on consistency
Inspect all dishes for quality, temperature and presentation prior to service
Deliver high standards of customer service
Train and support the wider kitchen team
