As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring the highest quality of dishes served to our guests.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor food quality and presentation standards to uphold the establishment's reputation.
Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to maximise profitability.
Skills
Proven experience as a cook or chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and production techniques.
Excellent team management abilities with a focus on leadership and mentorship.
In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
