We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment Oversee daily food production, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation Develop innovative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences Manage food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies Monitor stock levels and control food costs effectively Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting professional development Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area in accordance with hygiene standards Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Assist in serving dishes during busy periods when necessary

Skills



Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment Extensive food production and preparation skills across diverse cuisines Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities Deep understanding of food safety regulations and best practices Exceptional cooking skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation Previous experience working within a restaurant or hospitality setting Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills to motivate and coordinate with staff and suppliers Knowledge of current culinary trends and innovative menu development skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 18.00-24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
