Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment
Oversee daily food production, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
Develop innovative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Manage food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies
Monitor stock levels and control food costs effectively
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting professional development
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area in accordance with hygiene standards
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Assist in serving dishes during busy periods when necessary
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment
Extensive food production and preparation skills across diverse cuisines
Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities
Deep understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
