About the Role

Kitchen Manager

, you'll be the heartbeat of our kitchen, leading a team that delivers top-notch food and drink while creating an environment where both our team and customers feel valued.

You'll work alongside the

General Manager

, ensuring that the kitchen runs efficiently, our standards remain high, and every plate we serve is something to be proud of. You'll lead by example, coaching and developing your team while keeping an eye on the bigger picture--driving performance, ensuring operational excellence, and making your cafe a thriving part of the local community.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the Kitchen Team

- Set the tone for the kitchen, ensuring your team is well-trained, motivated, and delivering great food with consistency.

Quality Control & Standards

- Every dish should meet our gold-standard specs. If it's not perfect, it doesn't go out!

Operational Excellence

- Oversee prep, line duties, and stock management, ensuring smooth service at all times.

Food Safety & Compliance

- Maintain top hygiene and allergen procedures, keeping our kitchen safe and legal.

Coaching & Development

- Train, mentor, and develop your team, building a strong pipeline of future talent.

Managing Costs & KPIs

- Take ownership of stock levels, labour, and waste management, ensuring efficiency.

Shaping the Cafe Culture

- Create a positive, inclusive kitchen environment where everyone thrives.

What We're Looking For

?Passionate about food, people, and creating a positive work environment.
?Experience leading a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
?Strong understanding of food safety, stock management, and cost control.
?A natural leader who can coach, inspire, and bring the best out of their team

?Organised, proactive, and able to handle the pressures of a busy kitchen.
