We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and managing kitchen operations to maintain high-quality food production.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with team members to create new menu items and improve existing recipes.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
Ensure the kitchen is organised, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
Assist in managing kitchen staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during service hours.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs.
Experience in food production and team management within a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership skills.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service through quality food.
