Responsibilities

Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively to optimise profitability. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Maintain a positive atmosphere within the kitchen, encouraging teamwork and open communication.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong background in food production with extensive culinary experience. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods across various cuisines. Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a focus on hospitality excellence.
