Duties

Supervise and manage all kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to the preferences of our clientele. Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure seamless kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional service during meal periods. Implement cost control measures to optimise kitchen efficiency without compromising quality.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
