Responsibilities

- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Create and develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
- Train new staff members in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and presentation styles.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
