Seeking an experienced & inspired hands on Head Chef to lead a small team creating a fresh a la carte & tapas menu for this quirky and well established independent country pub restaurant. Ideally you'll have At least 7 years of experience in Kitchen experience environment, with great organisational & team skills. You'll be confident writing and costing dishes, achieving GP, creating specials & event menus, as well as on top of allergens & food safety matters.
Across Summer there's 'outdoor dining' events & experiences - from wood fired pizzas to bbq parties. With live music, outdoor cinema and comedy events, it's a brilliant ambience and a beautiful setting. Embrace the gorgeous outdoors this Spring & Summer at The Willow Tree.
More about you:
You'll be happy to work independently if required and able to multi task. Weekends and evenings are key as we are closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday lunch, opening for the week 5pm Wednesday - Sunday evening.
Will want to meet in person and hear more about your chef experience and ideas. You'll speak fluent English & have up to dafe food safety level 2 or 3. There could be basic live in available for the right person. Could well develop to permanent role.
