As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all canteen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a harmonious work environment.
Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
Oversee food preparation and food development, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Develop and implement a pro weekly menu.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Experience
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team management and leadership.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation and menu planning
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
