Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a proven track record in food production and team management. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, safety, and presentation. Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work atmosphere. Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation skills. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain stock levels. Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness and organisation of work areas.

Qualification

In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Exceptional culinary skills with creativity in menu development. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food service. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Previous restaurant experience is essential; experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
