We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu creation, team leadership, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality before serving.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment. Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership. Extensive culinary experience with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
