We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. Duties
Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including sous chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends whilst maintaining consistency with our brand identity.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Manage food production schedules to meet service times efficiently.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively.
Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and promote a positive working environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a focus on hospitality by ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent food quality and service.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Demonstrated team management capabilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Previous experience in restaurant operations or similar hospitality roles is highly desirable.
