Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Participate in catering events as required, providing high-quality food service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Support the team by performing various kitchen tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling dishes. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and customer satisfaction. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages or issues.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Experience in catering is an advantage but not essential.
