As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection while managing a team of skilled chefs.

Duties

Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Oversee food production and preparation processes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including stock management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen team in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and menu execution. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Who are you?

Proven experience as a Head Chef or working towards your first Head Chef role after earning your stripes as a strong Sous Chef. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food preparation methods, and culinary trends. Excellent personal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.

Pay: 37,000.00-40,000.00 per year
