We are looking for a Head chef to join our business !

With this Exciting opportunity we are looking for someone who has experience in running/managing a team of chefs in a fast paced environment.

You will have an Executive chef to help, give training and oversee all aspects of the job role.

We are a all day cafe bar operation, serving great quality fresh food in a fast paced kitchen.

We smoke our own food and create menus with varied gluten free and vegan options. We also have daily changing specials so our chefs have input to create there own dishes. We are looking for chefs from all levels and backgrounds to join our team.

At the Windjammer you will be cooking quality breakfasts, brunch, grills and specials.

What we are looking for in our Chefs?

You must have experience in cooking with fresh food and have Experience in a fast paced kitchen

We are looking for an organized individual who is cool, calm and collected. Someone who strives when under pressure motivates the team to get the best results.

Your job role will include:

Ensuring that all kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness

Motivating the team and keeping up company standards with high food quality

Keeping high standards with food hygiene. Staying up-to-date with culinary trends and kitchen processes

Dealing with suppliers and completing daily orders

Managing the inventory and ordering stock as needed.

Ensuring that guests receive consistently good food service and all customers leave happy.
