We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation are maintained consistently. Duties



Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, kitchen porter, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment Oversee food production processes to ensure dishes meet quality standards and are prepared efficiently Develop innovative menus in line with current trends and customer preferences while maintaining cost control Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen operations Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise operational efficiency Train staff on food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety procedures Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity and service quality Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive food production and culinary experience across diverse cuisines Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members Excellent food preparation and cooking skills with attention to detail in presentation In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Previous restaurant experience demonstrating leadership in a fast-paced setting Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Exceptional organisational skills with the capacity to oversee daily operations effectively Good communication skills for liaising with staff and suppliers effectively

Pay: 28,297.47-40,000.00 per year
