Duties
Supervise and manage the kitchen staff, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards.
Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends while considering customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Manage inventory and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Skills
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Exceptional organisational skills to maintain an efficient kitchen operation.
Strong leadership qualities that inspire and motivate team members.
